USGS 104b Program – Call For PreProposals
USGS 104B Program FY 2021
(Project period March 1, 2021 – Feb 28, 2022)
PRE-PROPOSAL DEADLINE: 5:00 PM, September 28, 2020 (Monday)
The Connecticut Institute of Water Resources invites the faculty of all Connecticut colleges and universities, to submit pre-proposals for freshwater related research and information transfer on problems of importance to Connecticut and the Northeast Region.
NOTE: Funding of the 104B Program is contingent upon Congress funding the National Water Resources Institutes program. At this time funds have not yet been appropriated for this program for FY 2021. If funds become available at typical funding levels, we anticipate approximately $60,000 to be available for funding new research or information transfer projects for the period March 1, 2021 – February 28, 2022.
ONE YEAR projects are preferred.
Projects that span two years are acceptable, but second year funding is not guaranteed. To receive second year funding, a new proposal must be submitted in addition to providing a written year one progress report and brief presentation at the CTIWR Advisory Board meeting held in December.
